2018 Resolutions

Yes I write these and I have every year for over 20 years now. Last year was the first year that I didn't and to my surprise, it was a rough year. So I decided to pick it up again and give it a "go". Mind you this is for both my studio and my own practice because I'm just as much of a student as I am a yoga teacher. With that said, I'm sure I will add to it as I progress, I'll be crossing off things as I accomplish and I am going to try to not be hard on myself if I am not able to achieve everything on the list.

My things to accomplish in 2018 in no particular order:

- Open my doors to the public in February 2018 at my Union Beach location.

- Bring the community closer through yoga, meditation, workshops, social events at the studio & outside venues

- Bring what I learn in my own practice, to the classes I teach.

- Get my 500hr Teaching Certification

- Get my Littlest Yogi's Certification (yoga for infants & toddlers)

- Find myself a wonderful staff of yoga teachers that I adore, who will teach with care, compassion, passion and mindfulness.

- Run a few workshops for children over the summer

- Let Go on a daily basis!

- Smile, laugh, joke more

- Drink more water

- YOGA EVERY DAMN DAY

- 45MIN MEDITATION EVERY DAMN DAY

- GRATITUDE EVERY DAMN DAY

- Weekly Angel Card Readings for both myself and clients

- Hold Crow Pose for 5+ breaths

- Hold headstand away from the wall! (slow & controlled rise and release)

- Stronger handstands - slow and controlled rise and release (I do what the little kids do and throw myself up, I can stay up but I want that control)

- Learn more about Retreats, find one to try for end of 2018 or beginning of 2019

- Visualize more

- Manifest more

- Send love to those who need it

- Be patient not passive.
