200Hr Yoga Teacher Training

Whether you have dreamed of becoming a yoga teacher or just deepening your yoga practice and understanding of yoga to a new level.  This is a great opportunity of a lifetime, especially if you're on a journey of self discovery! 

Our FIRST Yoga Teacher Training will be held this March 2023.


We will have Q&A Sessions immediately following the Sunday morning class (dates below beginning in November).  If Sunday's do not work for your schedule, please reply back with your interest & we will set something up to review with you at your earliest convenience.

 

You must attend class and the Q&A Session in order to register.  If dates do not work for your schedule, please contact Betsy with your interest.  Please be aware only 10 spots will be available.  It is our first Yoga Teacher Training and Betsy would like to provide the support and attention to each trainee during their time in this 200hr YTT training.

You'll receive:

  • Manuals for training

  • 200 Hour YTT Certification (with a passing review)

  • 15 Hour Sound Healing Certification

  • Prop Set (bolster, strap, 2 blocks & blanket)

  • Unlimited Adult Yoga Classes during Yoga Teacher Training (if you are a member, your membership will be paused during those months of training)

  • 10% off Workshops & Events during Yoga Teacher Training

Class & Immediately following is the Q&A Info Session:

  • Sunday, November 6th & 20th

  • Sunday, December 11th & 18th

  • Sunday, January 8th & 22nd

  • Sunday, February 5th & 19th

Techniques, Training & Practice

You'll learn in-depth about the asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), the subtle body, & meditation.  Learn how to sequence safely ensuring proper alignment, including modifications/alternatives, adaptations.

Anatomy & Physiology

You'll learn about the anatomy, physiology & biomechanics.  Such as the  skeletal system, cardiovascular/circulatory, endocrine, and digestive system in relation to yoga.  Safe movement as it pertains to balancing, stretching, awareness, and physical limitations. Joint movement, joint stabilization, misalignments, etc.

Yoga Humanities

You'll learn about the history, philosophy and ethics. For example: You'll learn in relation to Yoga Alliance Ethical Commitment including Scope of Practice, Code of Conduct, and Equity Position Statement.

Professional Essentials

You'll learn about teaching methodology including class management, professional development which is great if you want to shar about yoru practice or begin your journey as a teacher & practiums throughout the time of training to ensure your making progress in your journey in becoming a yoga teacher.
